Been together 10 years (will he forget the 10th wedding anniversary next month?) and he announced yesterday that he was out tonight. I had to sit looking totally deflated for at least 3 or 4 minutes before he said OMG it's your Birthday tomorrow, isn't it?????? So, I am on my own all evening, I have no cards, no presents, haven't even been able to tell DS and DD that it is Mummy's birthday as have (reluctantly) agreed to postpone my birthday until FRIDAY by which time DH reckons he can have something SPECIAL organised, to involve cake etc with the kids and an evening out... not quite sure how he will pull this one off!
