On Wednesday, I ate another one
I've just eaten the last one!

I forgot to tell them,I bought them a treat, honest guv!

Now, that's not unreasonable, is it!

differentID · 25/09/2008 22:14

it's not unreasoinable that you bought them as a treat- for yourself

CherryChapstick · 25/09/2008 22:15

Does anybody remember the Cabana, from back in the day? Chocolate, coconut and cherry.

pushchair · 25/09/2008 22:15

Sainsburys advertising them in my latest e-mail. Wasnt tempted though dont like wispas. Ate the three galaxys my mum sent for DDs though

milkysallgone · 25/09/2008 22:18

So do we all steal chocolate from our dcs and tell ourselves it's for their own good, or is that just me?

Of course it's for their own good. Rotten teeth, hyper behaviour from too much sugar etc. I would be a bad mother if I didn't help them out!

MaureenMLove · 25/09/2008 22:20

Oh, all the time Milky! Its not good for them!

Although I'm not going to admit just how many of their Easter eggs I actually scoffed

milkysallgone · 25/09/2008 22:24

You did it for them. I'd actually scoffed a fair few eggs before Easter

Thans Milkysallgone, am feeling quite concerned about the guillan (SP?) box put away for Christmas. If I succomb it will be because of your reassurance!!

footballsgalore · 25/09/2008 22:29

My spelling is actually quite pants tonight all round so I hope I am making sense!

potatofactory · 26/09/2008 07:53

What about balisto bars? Why can't they come back?

i SUPPOSE I'll have to sample a wispa instead.

sigh

67Impala · 26/09/2008 14:44

Does anyone remember the Ovaltine chocolate bar?

OrmIrian · 26/09/2008 14:47

Nah. You're alright. It's when you buy more to replace the ones that you ate, and then eat those... that you have to worry.

Fimbo · 26/09/2008 14:48

Mint cracknell was my favourite.

I can imagine health & safety would be crawling all over it if it came back, as the shards were lethal!

platypussy · 26/09/2008 14:54

Fimbo - I loved mint cracknells. Had a special way of eating them too.

Kammy · 26/09/2008 14:55

M&S do packs of 3 walnut whips...there are 3 of us at home, funnily enough ds and dh never get any!

Fimbo · 26/09/2008 14:58

Oh they were gorgeous Platy. Yum

Do you remember when Walnut Whips had a walnut at the bottom of the creamy stuff too?

Galaxy counters.

Ooh memories

Countingthegreyhairs · 26/09/2008 14:59

oohh I remember caramacs (drooling emoticon)
for some reason or another my brother and I used to bury them in biscuit tins under the lawn using his Swiss Army knife to dig out squares of turf ......

used to love getting my jaws stuck around a Texan bar too ....

and does anyone remember those packets of orangey brown, thread-like sweets with a powdery coating that were meant to resemble tobacco ????? those were the days ....

platypussy · 26/09/2008 15:01
