To think the "tit" tattoos are vile and disgusting

Come on!

I have just seen a picture of a woman (not small by any means) leaning towards the camara with her clevage hanging out and she had a big faded tattoo on one of her bosoms

She was obviously trying to be sexy but it made me feel queasy just looking at her!

i know IANU about finding her gross and cringeworthy because every one to them self and all

that but do you think tattoos on boobies are a bit sick?

i like tattoos and have several myself, but i think tattoos on certain parts of the body look a bit tacky, such as breasts, hands, neck etc.
But hey, live and let live.

flourybaps · 25/09/2008 17:00

tbh i think yabu, the world seems to be full of people for you to dissaprove of, does it not get quite boring up there on your high horse

lizandlulu · 25/09/2008 17:01

i have 3 tattoo's but i dont like them on breasts or tops of arms.

it is just personal taste

yabu and judgemental and don't look at her breasts if you don't like them, I'm sure she didn't have the tattoo there just to offend you in praticular

I can think of far worst things in the world than tattoos FGS. I have eight, none on my breasts but one is on my arse (but I'm not a hooker, promise) and I couldn't personally give two hoots whether you approved or not.

Yanda · 25/09/2008 17:04

I mean PARTicular of course, damn Freud and his slips.

hecate · 25/09/2008 17:14

I personally do not like tattoos. I do not think they are attractive. This is why I choose not to have one. I don't care what other people choose to do. Their body, their problem.

Ripeberry · 25/09/2008 17:15

I would like a nice tatoo on my hip, so that no-one else could see it and it would be quite small.
Spoke to DH about it last night when watching
"UK's youngest grannies". And he actually said that he would not mind .

scaredoflove · 25/09/2008 17:21

I have one on my breast, you can't see it in a normal bra, can see it a little in a push up one and a very low top but I don't wear them very often

You can see it very clearly when I'm wearing nothing and all my partners have found it to be very nice (and it gives them something to aim for!)

I like it, it has a meaning that is very eprsonal to me (not a cartoon)

scaredoflove · 25/09/2008 17:21

Oh and I shop in Evans

nooka · 25/09/2008 17:27

Some tattoos are fantastic and some are really naff. I think it is more about the skill of the tattooer (and the taste of the recipient). They can be touched up when they fade, and I think higher quality inks last longer. I wouldn't have my breasts tattooed because the skin is pretty much guaranteed to distort.

solo · 25/09/2008 17:54

The only tattoo I've seen which I found absolutely stunning was a picture that covered the entire midriff f a very young and attractive woman I once saw at the gym. It was a picture of a flower fairy and the scenery around her. Actually, I can't recall whether it was on her front or her back, but it was beautiful.

nooka · 25/09/2008 17:58

I rather like those Japanese ones with goldfish and dragons and other very vivid large and beautiful pictures. But these are works of art primarily, I think. I have occasionally thought about having one after watching them on TV (I a have been seen to watch Miami Ink ) but a) I am a coward, and b) most of the tattoos I have seen are at best OK, and at worst very poor quality. I'd have to be very sure of the skill of the artist.

Ambi · 25/09/2008 18:00

I like tattoos, but never been a fan of them on the breasts. Personal taste and all that.

oh yes, "tramp stamp" Nothing much changes does it. Usual ways of putting other women down by implying they sleep around.

A person doesn't like tattoos... fine.

A person who makes value judgments about another person solely on the basis of a bit of body art = narrow minded.

WorzselMummage · 25/09/2008 19:32

Having the tasmanian devil in your breast is not art !

Ronaldinhio · 25/09/2008 19:40

yabu as i think it had as much to do with the attractiveness of the person as the placement of the tattoo
I used to love Janice from the sopranos tattoo which was rolling stone lips on her breast

Would it have been appealing if Samantha Cameron had it on her breast?

BlessThisMess · 25/09/2008 19:45

I was thinking of getting one in memory of my DS who only lived 8 weeks, but haven't been able to decide where on my body to put it. I was wondering about putting it close to my heart, IYKWIM,but now you are all giving me second thoughts.

noonki · 25/09/2008 19:54

my ex has a tattoo of a cabbage on his arm... it was meant to be a rose but it faded !

my FIL has a naked lady on his forearm, but when he joined the army they made him put a pair of pants on her

lulumama · 25/09/2008 19:55

i think the words 'boobies' and 'tit' are far more offensive and cringey than the tattoos
