who you were once freinds with.
won't go into the whole tale but I once fell out with ds's mates mum(normal stuff and of course I was right)
although I made every attempt to patch things up back then(yr5) she still blanks me 7 years latter.
now I don't give a shit but is it not a bit silly, or am I silly for even asking?

like i say It doesn't bother me, our ds's are ok they talk. and she is a *** anyway. just find it odd when someone just looks through you. Also I wish she would make her mind up as last time I saw her she nodded at me.
we fell out about a row our ds's had had( I was in the right of course)

I just think life is too short. I fell out with an old friend years ago (one of those arguements that starts about 1 silly thing, then spirals) I still think she was wrong, but we have mutual friends, and had been friends for such a long time, that I was prepared to let it go. I wrote her a letter apologising and trying to explain why I was upset with her, but got no reply. Sent her a birthday card- nothing. Mutual friend (awkwardly placed in the middle!) told me she had said she wasn't interested in making up, even to the point of being civil for the sake of our other friends. Bit sad, but not a lot I could do. Looking back, she had fallen out irreversably with at least 3 other of her "close" friends, so maybe that is just the kind of person she is, which is fair enough. I just wouldn't like to be like that- life moves on. It just seems petty to me, and a waste of years and years of friendship.

ImnotmamaG yes, I am

An old best friend and an acquaintance both blank me and I've no idea why.

My neighbour blanks me - but she is a bully - argument was over her attitude to a delivery guy at my front door.

To be honest just makes me laugh - she is about 7 feet tall and when she swivels her head away she looks like the creature from The Exorcist!!
