Or the Healthy Start option

Have 5 dcs so that would be (when little one goes to school) worth about £50 a week to me if they could all have meals.

We get £6 a week WFTC so dont qualify. Bloomin typical, am so annoyed!

i highly recommend appealing the DLA decision and working with a different doctor if need be.

TCO should be able to change your circumstance and therefore your award immediately, same as in the situation in which a person is made redundant.

what about his application for IB (incapacity benefit)?

really, walk into your nearest JobCentrePlus and make an appointment.

also have you applied for council tax benefit?

UniversallyChallenged · 16/09/2008 23:21

Our local mac nurse has helped a lot with the benefits side so I am pretty sure we have applied for everything but it's probably due for an update by me. will get onto the dla thing tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the advice xx

you apply for council tax benefit usually on the same form you use for housing benefit.

you should qualify for at least some if you are on CA and he can't work.

seriously, visit your JobCentre Plus and get an appointment or Welfare Advice Centre if there is one in your town.

sounds like you're getting the shaft here.

fiodyl works in benefits as well.

she usually sees threads like this, too, so bumping in case she's around.

do get some qualified help here as you could be missing out on a lot more money than school dinners and Healthy Start.
