I want to get married on 09/09/09 next year, but this happens to be my mum & her husbands 10th wedding anniversary (and also her husbands birthday lol).

Is it a bit unreasonable to "nick" this date from them?

I would say how lovely, my brther got married on my parents 30th anniversary, I wanted that a=date too 11 years later and had to change it as my Mum and Dad were getting back from holiday the day before, otherwise I would have chosen that date.

On my parents 40th we went to Morocco and
This year on 2nd November it will be my parents 50th and my brothers 20th, we are having a lovely family weekend away at a very expensive country hhouse!

My brother got married on my Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary too.

He's divorced now but I don't think that was anything to do with the date
