because that is what i feel like doing. they sit there and rev each other up to an unbearable level of hyperacticity every day, worse and worse. they blank me and jusat squeal at each other and drive me nuts. I honestly don't want to do tea ime anymore.

do u mean tea as in the cup of tea or Dinner tea???

meemar · 11/09/2008 17:00

My 2 boys are going through a stage of winding each other up and generally being totally annoying at mealtimes.

I threaten that I will separate them and make one of them eat alone in the kitchen if they don't sort it out. It usually works!

meemar, good plan, I think we may start to have dinner shifts,
1be, dinner tea, they don't have tea or that would explain the hyperness.

My GD gets hyper off tea tea. Me and my sister still wind each other we are in our 20's

Try the shift patttern for dinner time or how bout which ever one starts it send them away from the table until the other one has finished dinner

that is a good idea, it is always dd2, but dd1 encourages her and it just goes up and up.

have different sittings, or put one in a different room.

or do a reward chart where like 5 rewards = a prize e.g. playing on computer/paystation/new teddy/staying up extra half hour after bedtime
