To expect the nursery not to have lost DS's comfort teddy?

Am a bit pissed off about it to be honest......well, a lot pissed off actually . It's only his 3rd day there and it's the one DS goes to sleep with and has when he's upset. They said that they will look for it tomorrow but what do I say/do if they can't find it?

I realise that this is not the end of the world but they were the ones that said to bring it in to help him settle and now they can't find it! I went back to the shop that I brought it from a while ago so that I could have a 'spare' if it did get lost but they don't sell them anymore.

I'm sure he will find another comforter in time but how would you react to this? All opinions welcome (honest ).

I hope all is well tomorrow.
DD had a favourite teddy which my mam made a jumper for (well several jumpers) she used to take one of teddys jumper to school instead of him.

FOUND!!!!!

It appears they made a huge effort to find it. It's definately stopping at home from now on! Thanks all!

hurrah! I love a happy ending.

Hope i didnt sound too 'I told you so-ish' yesterday. Was just amazed they let such a precious thing in your nursery in the first place! Sounds like you can put your mind at rest about how they were a bit lack lustre at the beginning.

Good news !

Best piece of advice I ever got as a mother was if you see little one getting even slighty attached to a cuddle toy immediately buy a spare !

In my case though became a bit ridiculous as she switched allegiance a few times and we had "twins" of all sorts !

LOL Babbi

Junebugjen - no you didn't sound 'I told you so' ish at all.

It's amazing how the little things can make your day
