Im watchng the VMA's and they just had some rapper/singer (omg how old am i?)
who had his jeans literally around his knee's.

i see this "fashion trend" all ovwer the place and each and every time i see it i just want to go up up and give them a wedgy!

it really annoys me.
i have even been known to walk behind them and say "puul your pants up i can see your skid marks"
(much to my mothers horror)

had a teenage boy come in to work the other week with his mum.

His trousers were very low at front and his pants were, erm quite 'revealing'.

I did not know where to look, it was horrible.

Apart from that they look ridiculous, but doesn't most teenage fashion?

MrsM, That may be so now. Look up the history between the coastal rap wars. B.I.G. and Tupac. It wasn't just rappin that happened.
Also look up Tips from Nkeru on the history of "saggin".

I don't like it but am intrigued. How do they stay up? Those flat little bums. There is nothing to hook on to.

zippitippitoes · 10/09/2008 00:14

wellthey dont thats why they fall down basically belts arent fashionable

MrsBates · 10/09/2008 00:17

But they can walk about with them at that precarious point. IF mine got that far there'd be nothing stopping the final descent to ankles and falling flat on my face.

Hmmm, I don't think every grown man rapper wears that type of outfit. P. Diddy has his own line and he is a very sharp dresser.
I have also seen the big baggy clothes styles (although these do not fall down around and under the hips).
I would much prefer the young men wear the more refined Diddy styles but they are expensive and they wouldn't really be for everyday wear other than impressing the ladies anyway.
I can't see someone wearing something like that while out stealing cars or robbing some store.

yeh my friends do this alot (im still at school btw) and some of the girls in my form have taken to walking up behind them and pulling the trousers down.

suddenly they all started wearing them around their waist with belts.
