I think contract killing is quite a valid response to many of life's little irritations though. AIBU?

HereComeTheGirls · 01/09/2008 11:34

I love the ones called "AIBU to be upset that some stranger came up to me out of the blue and hit my DD" etc...like anyone would say YABU

daftpunk · 01/09/2008 11:36
shinyshoes · 01/09/2008 11:36

MrsJohnCusack · 01/09/2008 11:46

I'm ebnver fecking posting on one again.
nutters all

EachPeachPearMum · 01/09/2008 12:04

I was going to post a thread along these lines... because I do think that people who only post on AIBU are a little odd.

I just worry about their stress levels!

3andnomore · 01/09/2008 16:04

maidamees, I think a ranters/venting corner would be much better than AIBU ....because,if ever I post an OP in AIBU it is generally just to rant....lol

ScottishMummy · 02/09/2008 11:36

love AIBU the foot-stamping-harrumphing and inevitable huff when folk yell YABU

solidgoldbrass · 02/09/2008 11:38

Oh I loooovee the nutters. Nothing sets you up for the day more than a quick game of 'poke the piggy with a stick', after all.

ScottishMummy · 02/09/2008 11:43

yes sometimes some threads are so easy to bait, like throwing fish to seals, jump everytime

themildmanneredstalker · 02/09/2008 11:44

i bloody love a good aibu thread when i'm in the 'right' mood.
bloody brilliant to have a completely insane argument about absolutely nothing at all.

AuraofDora · 02/09/2008 11:49

agree scottish mummy ..tis interesting insight sometimes, can be the life blood sometimes of this place....
gotta be in the mood though

thumbwitch · 02/09/2008 11:53

I particularly like the "AIBU to be able to smell my neighbours dh smoking weed in the garden? " I mean, what ARE you supposed to respond to that - yes, YABU, how dare you be able to smell an illegal substance, you shoudl be arrested immediately; or no, YANBU, everyone should be able to smell everything unless they have a severely compromised olfactory system?

FGS.

stretchmarkqueen · 02/09/2008 11:54

I think we definitely need instructions for AIBU though! Some people really don't get it!

themildmanneredstalker · 02/09/2008 11:54

but thunbwitch-that was a joke thread in response to another crazy aibu thread!

stretchmarkqueen · 02/09/2008 11:54

i think its a wind up

stretchmarkqueen · 02/09/2008 11:55

x-posts!!

VictorianSqualor · 02/09/2008 11:55

SGB, are you who I think you are? Is it a secret?

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 02/09/2008 11:56

It is funny when the title doesn't work with the AIBU.

thumbwitch · 02/09/2008 11:57

ah well, I didn't read it so you're bound to be right - there are some things I just don't open because the thread title is just too irritating

stretchmarkqueen · 02/09/2008 12:00

I just love nutty, irritating, bonkers threads!! It resembles my life!!

Oh, BTW Vs..... YABU!!!

edam · 02/09/2008 12:01

There have been a lot of AIBU threads that are just ungrammatical. But I try to squash my inner pedant and refrain from pointing out 'it should be AIBU to OJBECT to x, y, or z'.

ScottishMummy · 02/09/2008 12:02
