I know I am a little bit.

Mil comes over every week to see dd - last week she didn't come over as I'm on leave and had things planned.

Today MIL wanted to take dd out and still hasn't returned - no idea what time she is going to be back.

When they get back DD is going to be knackered and won't eat her dinner - god knows what time she'll get to bed. DD is 3.

AIBU?

She probably didn't realise the time as she was having such a brilliant time with your DD....

I came on here to say that I thought YUButterlyU but having seen that they came home at 7.00pm and there was no contact then I don't think you were unreasonable at all, although I personally don't think it matters if DD was tired and a little hungry if she was having fun with GM. BUT I would have been worried by 7.00pm!

Maybe time to buy MIL a mobile phone....

Had she not given your daughter any dinner, considering she brought her back so late.? If not, then she needs to start noicing the time, you can't let a 3 yo go until 7pm with no dinner. MIL are geenerally thoughtless though

PinkyDinkyDooToo, you might be a MIL yourself one of these days

Don't really get your point Chelsygirl. I most like ly will be a MIL one day. I hope I would remember to feed my GC.
