Tea for two - I had a quick look at the fooc thread and would love to join in. It looks like just the sort of thing to keep me from the day job.
That said, I don't live anywhere exotic.

teafortwo · 27/08/2008 11:21

Well the Seychelles aren't exotic to the people who live on the Seychelles don't forget!

Come along and post... I will introduce you if you!

KnitterInTheNW · 27/08/2008 11:26

Just look at how much this book costs and yours will seem very cheap and an absoloute bargain in comparison!

teafortwo · 27/08/2008 11:28

I have introduced you...

"So... foocs this is my new update... I have found a new fooc on another thread!!!

Her name is litchick and insists she doesn't live anywhere exotic - but... I think we will find her and her life experiences very exotic because she is a professional writer !!!

I hope she will pop in and make her first fooc post today."

So, chicklit do Come and play!

teafortwo · 27/08/2008 11:30

lovecamping - so so sorry for the hijack !!!

You should come over to the fooc side too - tell us about your camping trips - it would mean a lot to us all!!!!

teafortwo · 27/08/2008 11:32

knitterinthenw - wow - and I thought football shirts and programmes were a rip off!!!!

CuckooSplodgeandTubs · 27/08/2008 16:54

Litchick, are you Lisa Jewell? If so, stop tinkering about on tinternet and get back to work.

Eat, Pray, Love.... I loved it. I left a relationship not long ago, and I really felt like I was on EG's journey to recover and find herself. The book had a tiny bit of 'Bill bryson' about it too.

However, my Mum who has never been divorced, dumped, taken a year out (??) found it "disgracefully self-indulgent"

Lovecamping, you should register with a book swap site like ReadItSwapIt if you have a serious book habit. I don't begrudge spending money on books but I had dreadful problems with storing them after I've read them as I have limited space, so now I swap them instead of buying new ones.

lovecamping · 27/08/2008 19:59

thats a great idea of ReaditSwapit. will definitely have a look at it tonight.

Teafortwo, dont worry i didnt' feel offended or anything. thank you for your recommendations. will read the other post tonigt as well.

speak 2 u soon...
