In thinking that our Trolls simply aren't trying hard enough these days?

I mean, come on, they used to put some effort into the scenarios.
Now they're just a bit......Meh.

What do they teach these days?!

The delivery has to be right too - you read it, you respond, few posts later your begin to think it's all a bit odd...

MamaGLovesMe · 01/08/2008 17:40

haven't they got anything better to do?

I really couldn't be bothered with thinking up something to troll over.

TheCrackFox · 01/08/2008 17:40

Yes, I just don't think the trolls are putting in enough effort.

DorrisMcWhirter · 01/08/2008 17:42

uNQUIETdAD - sorry weird caps problem there!
I love it

Ok, maybe we could start an 'Ideas for Trolls' thread.....
They'll be here all summer so may as well enjoy them....

WideWebWitch · 01/08/2008 17:43

Trolls aint what they used to be that's for sure.

Nowhere near JudgeFlounce standard.

DorrisMcWhirter · 01/08/2008 17:44

Oh god yes. The 'Whacko partner / husband has been teaching DS to shoot, is this an issue' thread . Classic!

OP posts:
Rhubarbstalkingarsehole · 01/08/2008 17:47

The modelling trolls were fun too.

Pirate sex, whacking it on wardrobe, tampon stuck up fanny - oh hang on a sec, that was real!

WideWebWitch · 01/08/2008 17:48

that was cod/pod

the shooting one and rug were v good although wasn;t she real, just mad?

DorrisMcWhirter · 01/08/2008 17:48

The sex ones are always hysterical, but pirate sex and whacking it on wood was brilliant, especially when some posters come up with things like 'Yes, I've heard of this, it has a name...'
Yep, that name is.......TROLLLLLLL

OP posts:
DorrisMcWhirter · 01/08/2008 17:49

Oh Yes, I feel Lav was real and nuts

OP posts:
Rhubarbstalkingarsehole · 01/08/2008 17:49

Ah now when you get those falling for it, sharing their own experiences, that's great that is!

WideWebWitch · 01/08/2008 17:50

Who remembers "my husband wants me to dress up as a horse during sex" ?

Rhubarbstalkingarsehole · 01/08/2008 17:50

I cannot stand the ones when a Mumsnetter just changes her name and goes around posting every now and then trying to get people to guess who she is.

That's not clever. It's just attention seeking and annoying!

If you're going to troll, you've got to do it PROPERLY!

DorrisMcWhirter · 01/08/2008 17:51

missed that one!

OP posts:
Rhubarbstalkingarsehole · 01/08/2008 17:51

A cow wasn't it? She had to be a cow and her name was Daisy.

WideWebWitch · 01/08/2008 17:51

hang on

WideWebWitch · 01/08/2008 17:52

here you go

Mhamai · 01/08/2008 17:52

Was the football and cat thread trolling?

cornsilk · 01/08/2008 17:53

Anyone remember the one where the op's husband was having it away with the kitchen utensils? That was class.

DorrisMcWhirter · 01/08/2008 17:55

WWW - Wow! That is brilliant trolling (I now have a really naughty urge to leave that thread on the laptop for DH to see - panic him a bit!)
Cornsilk, yes, she returned home early to find him lying naked on the bed with her saucepans and spatulas didn't she?

OP posts:
Mhamai · 01/08/2008 17:58

The utensils one was fab! Anyone remember the hamster casserole one?

hughjarssss · 01/08/2008 18:00

It's impossible to troll, as soon as people read a suspious post they search the name and if it's the OP first post, everyone will shout Troll.
