Hi all, couldnt find my original post so am updating here... have contacted the guy re Horrid Henry dvds, his office say he is going to get back to me.. on top of that and i am really fuming about this........ Creature Comfort DVDs arent captioned either so Aardman just got an earful about it because CC are promoting better understanding of disabilites at the moment! They have put me onto their manufacturer and i have contacted them. I feel i have caught them on the back foot as they are going to ring me back... If they say it is old stock and they are now being captioned then i will say that they should have withdrawn the old stock! Will update when i have more.

margoandjerry, that's something that has always amused me how some ads have titles, some don't, some only sometimes.

Hi TBM, Dave is a station available on freeview, Freesat, Sky etc which largely plays reruns of Top Gear, Have I Got News For You, QI and stuff like that. I think it's meant to appeal to men but I really like it!

Oh right, I didn't realise that's what you were refering to. Yeah I like that channel too, although we don't have it here, but I watch it at my parents house.

Im still badgering away.......... rang the guy back who didnt return my call, he wasnt there but was told by his secretary that he doing some research into what i have been saying... DS had Horrid Henry on this afternoon, the tv prog is captioned so why not the dvds!!??!!

Hi I have heard back from Aardman... cant go into much detail as i would like but suffice to say they are taking my comments very seriously and will hopefully be captioning their dvds in future!

hi lottie, way to go, its great that you are making sure to get this message across.

it should be equally aardman's fault, whoever is the licensor for aardman's home videos, and the manufacturer.

if aardman found it at top priority to have cc on their home videos, they could make sure it was so.

the manufacturer might just be the guy putting the shows on the dvds and duplicating them.

Excellent - will anyone who finds themselves with an uncaptioned copy be able to send it back to Aardman for a captioned replacement?
