Scary Teacher - I've signed up for the MA in philosophy there, after reading an earlier post of yours. I start in Oct. I hope its a good course. The units look interesting! Are you doing it over 3 or 5 years?

scaryteacher · 13/07/2008 14:23

I'm doing it hopefully over 3 - may take longer writing up the dissertation. I'm not teaching at the moment, as we are in Brussels, and GCSE RE is not on the curriculum here, so doing the MA is a way of keeping my hand in professionally iyswim, as well as marking for Edexcel. I have just marked unit A and H for them, and earned enough to pay for the first year of the MA. If and when the Navy sends us back to the UK, then at least when I'm interviewed I can say I've tried to keep up, even though I haven't been in a classroom for a while.

Yes, there is supply, but doing the tax return in Flemish is too hard!
