I just want to go out

I am almost 4 months pregnant with DC3, my othe two children are 2 & 3 and I just really want a night out.

Nothing wild, lol, just cinema and dinner with DH.

I can't ask MIL as we aren't on speaking terms (she does see the LO's and takes them out but babysitiing involves her minding them here and shes banned from the house, lol)

I don't want to ask my mum as she is run off her feet constantly and has sooo much on her plate, I know she would if I asked but I don't want to.

Remember the good old days when if you decided at 5:30pm you wanted a night out you would just get dressed and go??

Ask her again, say you were only joking about MIL as you're not speaking. Sis probably would like the money and she would probably prefer to go out on the weekend herself.

P.S Totally with you on the 'could do with a night off' unfortunately my DD is not good babysitting material as sleeping is not her thing x

I work for Sitters and can assure you I am not just sweet around the parents.

All the sitters have some kind of childcare qualification ( I am a CM).

Don't be put off by a bad sitter you had 20 years ago!

10 years ago but still!

I'll ask my sis again and offer her a few more ££!
