to think that I should be allowed a nice afternoon in the park without people staring at me?

I was in a local park yesterday with my two DSs age 7 and 4 and my 6mo baby. We were having a lovely time and I was feeding them a healthy snack of calcium filled yoghurt when I became aware of this woman staring at us.

I felt rather alarmed! I have seen her staring at me before on busses, I am wondering perhaps if she is slightly besotted with me - how shall I handel this situation? Should I approach her?

Thanks.

Was she a size 10/12 with a very independent 3.7 year old prodigy?

Did she have a perfectly cut bob and a family conference folder under her arm??

newforold · 02/07/2008 17:24

Perhaps you should try using a fork next time, it's far more acceptable in european countries than silver spoons, better still, get The Help to do it for you.

daisylaisy · 02/07/2008 17:24

Or was the bob on her head?

newforold · 02/07/2008 17:25

Or else, consider changing to a more expensive brand, it's really not the done thing to feed your kids blue stripe in public you know....

cornsilk · 02/07/2008 17:25

Surely your ds's should be with their au pair?

2shoes · 02/07/2008 17:26

lol

youknownothingofthecrunch · 02/07/2008 17:26

I would personall Mozart the situation, Handel is entirely inappropriate for obsession.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 02/07/2008 17:27

personally

Damnit!

jojosmaman · 02/07/2008 17:27

Are you a very convinced SAHM?

themildmannneredjanitor · 02/07/2008 17:28

was her child reading satre?

maybe she doesn't approve of dairy based snacks for children?

lulumama · 02/07/2008 17:30

i thikn these sorts of threads are a bit mean spirited . if you have an ishooo with another poster, tell them , rather than starting this sort of passive/aggresive nonesence

themildmannneredjanitor · 02/07/2008 17:31

oh lulumama! it's just a joke!

lulumama · 02/07/2008 17:33

i know. but i still thikn it is a bit mean.

the person about whom this thread was started may think it is really funny, or they might be a bit pissed off, if they say they are pissed off, tehn they run the risk of being told to get a sense of humour blah blah blah

i don;t like it

spin off threads always have the potential to go catastrophically nasty

VictorianSqualor · 02/07/2008 17:36

I agree with lulu, the joke could've been carried on on the same thread.

cornsilk · 02/07/2008 17:39

Actally (in hindsight) I agree. I like Anna - was just having a laugh. Sorry.
