AIBU to vape? I’ve never smoked cigarettes. Vaping is my one vice, I don’t drink or have any other vices. I find that vaping helps with my stress! I know people will say it’s stupid but I enjoy vaping

Vape away. Also whoever is claiming vapes stink is a moron, they are hardly offensive, it's vapor with a minor scent. They will be then first person to buy some winter spice candle, a glade plug in, and a bottle of shit perfume at Christmas, yet can't abide a whiff of blue raspberry they will only experience for seconds in passing. Utterly pathetic.

Vaping was supposed to help wean people off cigarettes, not as an excuse by users to now do it in the car, on the bus, in shops, at the dinner table!

It may have started like that but it's definitely not how it's being marketed now. It is absolutely targeting people who have never smoked and at young people and children.

It really needs heavy regulation.

Yabu but I will join you in the naughty vaping corner. I recently took it up in middle aged after never smoking. I'm going through a really hard time where I need to be strong and sensible for those around me. I can't even really explain why I'm doing it, yes it's calming, I like the head rush but I think I'm enjoying doing something stupid and secret as well? Nobody in the world knows I'm doing it. It feels like I get to be a person not the sensible person supporting everyone else and making thoughtful decisions maybe?

I don't know, it's stupid.
