I do mine - I do our two DS's. He had a huge go at me this morning saying that YET AGAIN I had folded a dirty t-shirt of his back into one of his drawers. YET AGAIN I told him that if he just drops it on the floor I will put it away, I do not have time to individually check each item for dirt!

PUT IT ON THE LANDING SO I KNOW IT IS DIRTY! Or better still make your way down the one flight of stairs to the laundry basket and put it in there! Not ON it - IN IT!

Grrrr

i have the same rule as itati, if they are not in the wash basket they arent washed!

and i dont take kindly to "shove these in the washer will you i need them for tomorrow and the washer is full and im going over to the pub" as he learned last night!

although every now and then i get sick of the giant clothes pile at the end of the bed and move it all to the washing basket for him, but only once i have pointed out several times to him that even dd1 can manage to put her own clothes in the washing basket and she is only four!
