I slammed the door a lot and broke something in the kitchen I talked non stop all this because I lowered the dose of antidepressants and antipsychotics I had prediabetics and felt the antidepressants stopped working I feel bad I have since upped my meds but still talking a lot and find it hard to stop talking if I’m extremely distressed I only slammed the door occasionally I’ve got a social worker who says I can live a foster family

@Bigfattwat
It’s his house. He is trying to keep their child safe.

Wolfiefan · 03/10/2026 21:48

It is his house and he doesn’t want you there. You need to find your own space.

AmberPeaches · 03/10/2026 23:19

You need SS intervention for your daughter’s sake. Your ex needs to call the police on you, diabolical behaviour.

Is there a backstory I’m not aware of? Well, obviously there is

OP has a very long history, yes. The gist is that it would be best for everyone if she moved into some supported living arrangement, engaged with MH services properly, stopped messing with her medication, stopped drinking, and left her ex-DP to look after the child by himself. It sounds like she now has a SW so hopefully she is on track to do some of this.

It doesn’t matter if he has done “worse”. It’s his house and he doesn’t want you there. You need to move out and look after yourself. Focus on getting well and happy. None of you will be happy while you stay in this house.

PurpleLovecats · 08/10/2026 15:39

Oh ffs. I don’t get why you keep posting then ignore responses. Why won’t you move out? I don’t get it. You sound so unhappy together.

LIZS · 08/10/2026 15:47

Sounds like you were out of control. Were you sectioned at that point? There is no point dwelling on the past. You need to accept that you move out and allow him to move on, take meds and accept support for your mh.

A foster family for you or your dd?

A foster family for you or your dd?

Also why can’t you use uc to rent a room as. A lodger?

Wolfiefan · 10/10/2026 16:16

If the house is in his name then it’s not your house. You need to find the money to move out. Or find a friend or family member to take you in.

JaneFoe · 10/10/2026 16:37

He needs to write you a letter stating you are to get out of his house immediately @Purplehearts45

The council will have no choice then when you present as homeless to them and they must house you.

hourglass2 · 10/10/2026 16:40

Poor kid stuck in the middle of this shit....

PurpleLovecats · 10/10/2026 18:45

To be fair though, it’s hard to rent on UC.

But I am saddened that the social worker hasn’t been able to find somewhere, I’m sure in an earlier post you said she had but you didn’t want to move but that might be my mistake.

I do feel so sorry for your daughter.

Purplehearts45 · 11/10/2026 14:20

Is the house for sale then?

Wolfiefan · 11/10/2026 16:06

In May you said he wanted a divorce. Is that proceeding?

Are you back on the dosage of antidepressants and antipsychotics prescribed for you, since you mentioned you had increased again after you decided to lower your doses a while ago?
