how much does everyone spend on coffee and eating out

Coffee. I don’t drink it but between my partner and 2 kids we probably spend £100 per month.

Eating out. Usually between £600 - £800 per month.

Probably about £300 a month on coffees and eating out, maybe more and same for my husband. We often have a long walk with the dog and then brunch out on weekends as well as dinner out.

Between me and Dh around £60 s month on coffees and the odd piece of cake or bacon bap/

We might well share a piece of cake too. Meals out are more rare and happen once every 2 or 3 months. [if that]

Nothing at all on coffee; can make it in work and wouldn’t buy it when out and about unless specifically meeting ‘for a coffee’ / social event.
The price is shocking. It’s hype IMO

Nope, me too. I don’t drink instant coffee and I make myself a morning cafetière every day. If we’re going out, I’ll make a flask (Stanley Aerolite) with a proper coffee bag (Taylor’s or M&S). I reckon my flask has paid for itself in about a fortnight, judging by some of the answers on here. I live in a market town famed for its cafes but only one of the probably two dozen makes a decent coffee. Not going to pay four quid for a lukewarm cup of weakly-caffeinated liquid.

I hardly ever buy coffee anymore because I find the prices ridiculous now. I live in Europe, €6-7 for a milky coffee —Nope. Eating out is different, we probably do so at least once a week, can vary from €30 at a burger place to €150 for proper restaurant with booze and 2 courses.

I’ve spent a total of £625 on eating out and coffee this year. Mostly in March while on holiday and June for various family celebrations.

Why are asking?

Between coffee and eating out we spend about £1k a month. Shocking really.

Almost nothing. Ground coffee is wasted on me, I prefer instant. Heathen I know. We eat out maybe once per year, if that. DH is too good a cook so prefer to eat at home spending on really good ingredients and wine. Takeaway every couple of months.

Coffee addict so maybe 4 x a week. Eating out, maybe 2ce a month. Nit including the spud van/ butty place near work which isn't really eating out just convenient food grab. Maybe x 3 a week.

We eat out at least once a week...about £400 a month. Coffees...about £25 a week for both of us.
We can afford it...comfortably retired. We love food....cook from scratch every day and try new recipes weekly.
Lucky to live in a place which has an excellent variety of independent restaurants and we travel a lot .

I drink my own hot drinks at home or take flasks out on day trips with our children. I very occasionally have a hot drink out if I meet a friend, once every 1-2 months.

We cook at home and take our own picnics on day trips. My DH and I go to an adult restaurant for dinner for special occasions. We attend family birthday meals at restaurants. We have a take away or eat out as a 4 very occasionally. We get the odd McDonald’s, eg at services when driving back at an awkward time from somewhere.

Zero on coffee. Don't eat out but used to get the occasional fish and chips… until ours closed. So now we only get that when we visit friends who live in a nice village with an award winning chippy. So that could be 2 or 3 times a year. We prefer to eat at home tbh.

Zero- hate Costa and Starbucks , make far better at home using my Bialetti. Have a big coffee before work, no need for any more.

Hate chain restaurants( I make far better at home), Dishoom and one Rockfish are the exception but don’t have Dishoom near me and the one Rockfish I like is an hour away. Much prefer good independent cafes and restaurants. Work full time and normally busy at weekends so eating out is normally for a treat or special occasions a few times a year and somewhere we really like. I can cook well and prefer to cook well at home- organic veg box etc

I usually get a coffee twice a week on my way into work, 4 each, sometimes an extra one at work for another fiver or so - probably 15 ish a week on coffee

I buy my breakfast and lunch on office days, so that can be another 20 or so

My dh and I usually eat out every week, 200 or so, and usually get a takeaway or breakfast delivered for 30 on the weekend
