[I categorically refuse to put the word ‘lighthearted’ in the title to indicate that Im not actually traumatised. Also because saying this post is lighthearted is just as facile as holding a little bus or building a Lego haus to illustrate my point.
See below.]

I realise that I don’t need to follow Mr B on instagram but I do and I’m feeling deeply patronised:

First a little toy bus (talking about buses innit), then a Lego house (building more Lego houses to amuse the homeless), a bit of cosplay by dressing up as a Sainsbury’s man of the people (to show that you can work at Sainsbury's and a sexy uniform is thrown in) and now… throwing a cowboy hat at the camera/phone to illustrate that cowboy builders are …cowboys.

Make it stop.

Andy is not my PM, like most people, I have never even heard of him before now, and my god things are going from bad to absolutely beyond terrible with Labour. I have never seen such an incompetent government. It is truly frightening.

Your beef is spot on, and no one wants to be treated like an idiot, but the hard left nanny state has a total ambition to reduce everyone's intellect to zero (easier to control) and ensure they flatten all talent and ambition in the name of woke. The hatred they have for this country and anyone that is capable is palpable and obvious from their juvenile, patronising posts. Literally treating the country like we are all morons. This is not cool, and shows Andy's total lack of skill, experience and expertise.

You'd never heard of him?! He was in the cabinet almost 20 years ago, stood for Labour leadership twice, was heavily involved in Hillsborough and was Manchester Mayor for a decade. It's hard to believe that anybody could be so disengaged from current affairs, but it perfectly demonstrates exactly why an in your face social media strategy is needed.

People are quite happy with 'dull' as a PM.

We had it and they chucked him out. Now it comes to light what he actually did achieve.

Whatever the personality, dress sense, accent and social media presence of a Prime Minister, not everyone will like them. Or approve of them. Or agree with them. An unintended consequence of social media is over-exposure of political leaders, leading to them becoming a consumer ie voter commodity. No, we don't like this one. Let's try another. And another.

I can't believe I'm longing for Starmer back!

A grown up.

I mean, its not like 'dull' is the full requirement! But 'dull and capable' is perfectly alright.

Absolutely @Beepen . We have a bus service on Wednesdays (yes, just on Wednesdays) and it is one way.....

Snap! Except ours is on a Thursday!!

And just this week they’ve installed a new bus stop for the virtually non-existent service to stop at! 🤷‍♀️

Starmer is not lacking capability.

On what part of his body is he ‘wearing’ the hat?

Anyone else got a " you can keep your hat on" earworm now?
