Men in general?

Miserylovescompanyx · 25/08/2026 19:17

I cant believe all these men who are attending protests and rallies against immigration and then using the argument that these illegals are raping and murdering women.

Funny how these men dont come out and protest when a white man commits these crimes... or do these men think that we, women, belong to the white man?

In my town it surfaced that a lot of the men creating groups to put up English flags had domestic violence convictions. Shock. I won’t pretend I am at ease at high levels of migration where we don’t know the backgrounds of them, but let’s not pretend our men aren’t out there raping and treating women indecently in the UK. They should put those booklets out in military bases for a start.

Lexibletheflexible · 25/08/2026 19:29

What I thought was funny was that they didn't try and protest or riot outside traveller camps when those boys got a ridiculously lenient sentence. They pick their victims wisely.

BEAchDays2 · 25/08/2026 20:00

These men are racist, and the reason you know they are racist is because they don’t fight for any other feminism causes. You won’t find them fighting for anything, unless it involves bullying brown people. There it is.

RockItLikeRocketFuel · 25/08/2026 20:48

And you think "all these men" represent "men in general"? 🙄

Likely because they knew they would have got the shit kicked out of them.

These types of men prey on those they believe are weaker than themselves. That’s why they attack woman, children and immigrants walking alone.

They represent a big chunk of them.

They represent a big chunk of them.

How do you know?

Jutteng · 25/08/2026 20:57

I’m glad the penny has dropped for you. They aren’t against violence against women; they’re against violence against women if it’s done by a black or brown person, because it’s a nice easy stick to beat them with.

It’s a tale as old as time - the minority being the source of all our ills; bringing disease; taking our jobs; raping our women.

They're just straight up racists, but don’t have the balls to admit it.

RockItLikeRocketFuel · 25/08/2026 20:58

SlappyHap · 25/08/2026 20:52

How big a chunk? Three quarters? Half? A quarter? Put a number on it.

SlappyHap · 25/08/2026 21:17

missmollygreen · 25/08/2026 20:55

How do you know?

From experience. I live locally to one of the hotels that was smashed up and set on fire in August 2024.

All local men. I knew lots of them. I went to school with the man who arranged to have (cheap) England flags attached to all lampposts in our town. There was a gofundme set up for all the “patriots” to buy flags, ladders and cable ties. All local men who donated and got involved. I know most of them.

Yet they are all quiet when a local white man is convicted for domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Silent.

So from my lived experienced, it is a huge group of men, in my area. Granted, this will differ to a lot of people, especially people who live in more diverse or affluent areas. But this is my experience.

In my small town of 2,600 (population). It was reported that atleast 700 people (mostly men) as I witnessed it with my own eyes attended a “patriotic protest” in summer 2024 which resulted in a Hotel vandalised and set on fire and police officers assaulted.

Roughly 30% of the towns population. It may not be a majority, but it’s a good chunk.

Lots of lots of those “patriotic” men had previous convictions for violent and sexual offences.

It’s funny though because I never see 700+ men rioting and protesting when other white men murder and rape women.

Go figure 🤷🏼‍♀️

MyArtfulGreySloth · 25/08/2026 21:27

I don’t know any of these men. How many men do you know OP that attend these marches?

JazzyJelly · 25/08/2026 21:28

'Nobody rapes or beats my wife except me'

@Miserylovescompanyx Funny how these men dont come out and protest when a white man commits these crimes... or do these men think that we, women, belong to the white man?

This logic doesn't hold, because equally, people go and riot/protest whenever an immigrant murders a man, but not when a British person murders a man. So it has nothing to do with ownership of women.

I do think these issues have a different slant whenever people come into the country for the sole purpose of committing crime.

RockItLikeRocketFuel · 25/08/2026 21:37

Roughly 30% of the towns population. It may not be a majority, but it’s a good chunk.

Or to put it another way, your sample size is roughly 0.002% of the male population of the UK.

There has been more than 1 “patriotic protest” riot within the whole of the UK.

Look, I’m not saying it’s all men, of course it isn’t, but from my experience it’s a lot of men who hold the views that the OP is concerned about.

phoenix098 · 25/08/2026 21:42

This is the kind of post I've been waiting for on here! The amount of borderline racist MN posts I've seen this week insinuating that the rape and murder of women is an immigrant problem like DV cases don't increase when England loses the footie is driving me insaneee. It's a man problem and it always has been! White men, brown men, black men, all of them are as much of a risk to women as the other. It seems to be the easy thing in the country to scapegoat immigrants for all of its issues.

In all honesty, why would people use all their money to pay smugglers, risk their lives on boats after travelling thousands of miles, in order to attack women in this country? A country where they can attack women with more punishment than their own country?

It isnt just men attending protests, its a cross section of society, there are many women too.

It isnt "immigration" the protests are about, but illegal immigration and widespread abuse of the discredited asylum system.

It costs the UK billions to house and feed the illegals, 10s of 1000s of whom arrive every year. And this during a housing crisis and cost of living crisis.

Its true that the illegals have committed many violent and sexual crimes against women. I would struggle to condemn anyone for protesting against that.

Its also true that some british men have committed violent and sexual crimes against women. Unfortunately, we cannot deport them anywhere.

Its a strange attitude to criticise a newcomer to women's rights, because they havent already done xyz or protested against abc. By that logic, no-one could ever take up the cause of women's rights because they would never be good enough.

You need to start somewhere. Maybe the focus on the (huge) amount of crime by illegals might spark wider awareness of violent / sex crimes affecting women, for example? If you doubt the seriousness of migrant crime, ask yourself why the Government is going to court to prevent release of statistics pertaining to it.

Note also that stats show that migrant men are multiple times more likely to commit such henious crimes than a British man, a reflection of the different values and societies which have moulded them.

The govt attempting to cover up migrant crimes against women is very reminiscent of the grooming gangs cover up. it seems women and girls never matter and protecting the reputation and identity of non-white rapists is always the most pressing priority.

I think you are being uncharitable and bending over backwards to portray people as racist.

Its not racist to want a properly functioning border control and immigration system.

Its not racist to resent illegal immigrant chancers abusing our generosity to the tune of billions.

Its not racist to resent violence towards and abuse of women from any man, but especially those with no legal right to be here.

I respect people’s right to discuss immigration, legal annd otherwise, and what we collectively agree to. But in all you've said there, you've not really addressed the ops point to answer why are these men not incensed about british men sexually assaulting, raping and murdering ‘our women’? Which they do on the daily.

Maybe you can’t condemn anyone for protesting sexual crime by and illegal immegrant, but surely you can condemn protesting one but not the other?

It might well be a lot by the measure of a small town's population but the thread title is "Men in general?" and that's, well, I'm going to say it: misandrist.

Note that it's all young men.

My honest suspicion is that these are young men who get all of their information about the UK from internet porn, and that's what they expect when they come here. That's the only explanation for the behaviour we see from them.

This is so far from my experience. I do live in a more affluent area and thus likely to have more educated males around.

The UK doesn’t house and feed illegal immigrants.

The home office arrest/detain people who have no right to remain. Some people who aren’t detained stay within the community until their case is dealt with, but they don’t qualify for benefits and are not “housed and fed” by the government. Once their case is investigated and if they have no valid basis to stay they’re returned to their country of nationality.
