start your own business

so:

1900 quid for the starter pack and that seemingly doesn't even include the chocolate?

between 60P and £1 prophet on every chocolate bar?

yeah right.

Am pretty sure where they make their money, and it isn't on selling chocolate bars.

no chocolate

wannaBe · 27/06/2008 23:07

quite. 1000 chocolate bars to go with the 1000 wrappers you get as part of the 1900 quid package would set you back a further....
£370.

You would have to sell a bloody lot of chocolate bars to make that all back.

And seriously would you spend £1 a piece on chocolate bars to go into party bags? me thinks not.

People would pay it for weddings and stuff though.

To be fair, it is a business franchise operation. Not many franchise opportunities come in at under £2000.

no no ll it's not the machine's fault it's my crap spelling, lol.

Oh and when you look at the page 'what does it cost' it says it DOES include the chocolate.

SaintGeorge · 27/06/2008 23:13

A nugget of info that the wabbit beat me to.

wannaBe · 27/06/2008 23:14

stg it states clearly on the website that it is not a franchise.

oh i am LOVING the false use of prophet !! brilliant!

hunkermunker · 27/06/2008 23:15

I reckon it's v cheap for a franchise, but it says it's not a franchise. So I don't know what it is, really.

I think the My Mag franchise they also run was about £10k.

wannaBe · 27/06/2008 23:18

but in the "what's included" the chocolate bars are not mentioned, only the wrappers.

And they are only 35 g. I think it would be very difficult to get a decent market for £1 chocolate bars that are the same size as ones you can buy for less than 50p in the shop. Obv just my opinion but..

I skim read the home page so missed that line.

Still looks very franchise like to me.

SaintGeorge · 27/06/2008 23:31

It is the personalisation that people would be paying for though.

Price seems about right for that. Here 20 x 40g bars for £30.00
