Anyone else started to sort of dislike their friends in Peri…?

Just a bit?

Hate the feeling, but not feeling the same as I used to, as keen to meet up or on the same wavelength really.

Is this another awful part of it all?

I think if there is an imbalance in the relationship it can make you reassess.
Some friends are drains rather than radiators.
The drains get avoided because you cannot be arsed.
For those that are super tolerant peri menopause can release their intolerance for any poor behaviour around them, from family or friends.

Mine arrived in my 30's so I was long sorted.
Every decade has brought less tolerance to me.
I consider it a real blessing.

I struggle to deal with people who bring chaos into my life. I've thinned out my friends who don't bring joy but make me feel a bit crap.
I decided that I didn't need that kind of negativity. Life has been quieter but I'm meeting new people and having different fun.

Yes, I got very intolerant to a friends dickish behaviour. Attention seeking at all times, massively fake loud laughing in public, mildly ridiculing people and when called out on it, played the victim...it all got boring and tiresome so ive just faded the friendship.

I hate most people now, even my own DC are really starting to irritate me.

Yes! I have significantly reduced my friendship circle! No time, patience or energy for nonsense!

I think there is sometimes a general feeling of "can't be arsed" which can affect your friendships. Or is it some people more than others?
