There’s no need for that, she’s obviously struggling, don’t kick someone when they’re down

Ah come on, that’s just sadism. You know how that will loom large in her mind now.

I missed whatever was said and deleted, but I’m not sure OP ever reads any of the answers anyway πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.

Don’t waste another thought on it. Nothing substantive, just something like β€˜Don’t be so silly’. Honestly.
Hope you are doing ok. πŸ’

It's ok it will probably be said in the next one you create so you can catch up then

AmnesiacsDream · 11/08/2026 07:55

It hurts like hell Opal, their is grief and betrayal to process.* *But you will survive. Make it hurt for as short a time as possible by giving yourself some grace, connecting with friends as much as you can, and getting out and doing things. If it feels overwhelming, put a bit of time aside to let yourself think about it and then move on to something else. If you're still struggling, see your GP to get soemthing to help you manage for a short while.

Unblushingly · 11/08/2026 07:58

I will say it again β€” you would be far better off swapping β€˜soulmate’ for β€˜person with whom I used to be in a not particularly stable relationship that ended’.

No need to be like that. I have been suffering so bad

I don’t think I’m allowed to quote a deleted post, but it was just unkind and unnecessary, some people on here just post things to wind other people up.

Are you aware that the OP has been posting daily? That the partner in question kept leaving her, and, when he finally left, gave as a reason that her anxiety was too much for him?

I think you should go and see your GP for help, OP. Or, if you can afford private therapy, start there.

TheOpalFox · 11/08/2026 17:36

I have been to the gp today
