I have been trying to sort some transport out from airport to hotel in our holiday destination this been India and before I even get a chance to give details such as dates etc the guy blurts out if not now come to India and get married. aibu in thinking this is rather unnecessary comment and rather random or am I been stupid by going elsewhere for my transport needs this conversation was over thier WhatsApp number.

Why not book through a travel agent, so that they can arrange any pick ups and drop offs?

Well you can go with the more expensive option through the hotel that will get you to your destination or you can go with the cheaper option that may or may not get you to your destination and may or may not come with the added bonus of an unwanted arranged marriage. Your choice.
