To enjoy staying in hospital?

I have a chronic illness and have been hospitalised a few times for it. I enjoy staying somewhere where the nurses and doctors are looking after me, I feel safe, the doctors and nurses are generally lovely, it can be peaceful if other people on the ward are quiet and I get fed (very nice meals in my opinion which I get to choose off a menu), don't have to cook or think about what's for dinner, and can lie there all day and night, albeit in pain sometimes, but the strong painkillers often see to that. I do feel for people who are in hospital for long stays and serious illness, end of life, etc.

I'm sorry you have a chronic illness that sounds very tough. It's great that you have felt well cared for when you have ended up in hospital though! Hope you have a good day!

I really enjoy the being looked after, but I always get lumbered with noisy neighbours who piss their beds four times a night or are heavy snorers.

I had my own room once and that was bloody awesome.

If your care is of a good enough standard that you actually enjoy your stay then that's a massive win for you and the NHS! You should feel happy, safe and cared for & it's great that you do ❤️ pop them a thank you card when you leave x

If you're not bed bound and you're not on section then yes, I suppose it's quite nice to be looked after for a couple of days. But it's really hard to sleep there and the food is horrible! But if they give you morphine and codeine and ketamine then it seems quite pleasant.
