To keep the holiday treats I originally bought for my colleagues?

If someone goes on holiday on my team, they usually bring back some treats. Not everyone does this. I've recently come back from France and bought some nice biscuits for the office but now I'm thinking it would be nicer to have them myself as you can't get them here (I do have a stash for myself as well). Should I keep them and buy my team some French biscuits that are easily found here instead?

It's not mandatory at all, but it's really not that hard to grab a pack of something at the airport , you don't even need to open your luggage.

When I am kids free and don't care about liquid, I always go away with hand luggage only, I need shoes and choices, but how much stuff do people need to take that your bag is so tightly packed 😂

Used to work with someone who once went to Canada on holiday and brought back some maple syrup biscuits that were absolutely delicious. I went to Canada myself last year and bought some of these biscuits. My god they were disgusting. I was so disappointed. They must have changed the recipe.

You have to think of outfits, not random clothes. Actually try stuff on, think of where you are going, does it look good in photos, is it practical, am I comfortable in it (not just practical comfort, but nothing you think makes you look fat or whatever insecurities you have) and only take what you will ACTUALLY wear. No "maybe" or "just in case". Only the best stuff. Same with makeup, hair tools etc. For long trips, we always also book some Air Bnbs so we can wash some of the clothes.

It's a game changer for trips like Japan or Argentina or any destination where you will be travelling around every 3-4 days. Luggage gets lost or delayed all the time, plus you have to carry it and pack and unpack, so you really shoot yourself in the foot if you don't pack lightly. If you're just going to a hotel in Spain for 2 weeks, it doesn't matter, stick it all in a big suitcase and job done.
