Heather Herbert's* reaction to the death of Ann Widdecombe was to post on Bluesky that he hoped she suffered a painful death. Egged on by his followers he then wrote an even more disgusting post about how he hoped she died while being handcuffed to the bed, suggesting he hoped she was raped. After finding out she was murdered, he doubled down again, saying he was pleased she'd died. He's an employee of Aberdeen University. They have so far just said they are looking into it. He's also a former Labour parliamentary candidate. Apparently he has a history of mocking anyone public he doesn't like after they've died, and repeatedly reporting people for hate crimes for things they've said online. His partner is Sophie Molly, who called the police to get Graham Linehan arrested at Heathrow last year - which led to him being paid £25k by the taxpayer for wrongful arrest. AIBU to think he should be sacked immediately, have his Labour membership removed and be arrested for hate speech? * Heather isn't his real name - he's a transgender activist.
