I know a Steiner person who spelt her name Johan - I suppose it sounds more intersting and Germanic

'I know a Steiner person who spelt her name Johan - I suppose it sounds more intersting and Germanic'

You are sure it was a 'her'? It is the Swedish version of John- and the h is pronounced.

northernrefugee39 · 25/06/2008 20:45

Err yes definitely, very definately..... there were lots of boys there called Johan, Jonas, several... she had been Joanne I thnk, that's how she pronounced it and hoew i asssumed it was spelt, which is why it surpris me when i saw it written and why its so PSEUDY and wanky....

Heifer · 25/06/2008 20:45

Does she have a stutter?

bunchoflowers · 26/06/2008 09:32

It's a bit of an unfortunate name however you spell it!

frankiesbestfriend · 26/06/2008 09:43

Does Jaccii's dc have a hyphen in their name?

Hayley-Jo?
Demi-Leigh?

Lol at 'Fat writing'

ggglimpopo · 26/06/2008 09:48

I saw Siobhan spelled yesterday (in France) as Chivawn.

QuintessentialShadows · 26/06/2008 09:50

You lot are more shallow than an inverted lake.

PestoMonster · 26/06/2008 09:54

FBF, don't you mean

Derry-Leigh?

scorpio1 · 26/06/2008 09:58

LOL

i have 'fat' writing and when i was ten (ish) i decided i wa going to spell my name as 'Stefani' or 'Stefany' [cringe]

I reverted to my usual Stephanie (well i did after about a month)

Weegiemum · 26/06/2008 09:59

I could start calling myself WiiGii

frankiesbestfriend · 26/06/2008 10:40

Only shallow on the surface, QS.

harleyd · 26/06/2008 10:47

i have fat writing and i put circles above the letter i

clearly i have no place on mn

OrmIrian · 26/06/2008 10:49

That's shocking ! And in front of pre-school children too. Please take the p* massively. Or avoid her.

MamaG · 26/06/2008 12:41

....and you've only just realised, QS?
