End of year reception teacher thank yous

Uk- So DC 2 is coming to end of reception. I have donated to class collection. However I'd like to thank the TA with some kind of extra gift as can often go under appreciated. I probably should do something similar for the teacher too. DC has a few health issues and TA has been so kind so would like to recognise that. I don't want to get a crap gift they get 1000 times over. Are there any original ideas? I can do a gift card but it feels a bit soulless. If you are a teacher what have you loved, what gifts do you genuinely think oh no not another mug to?

Voucher and a card made by your child. You could write a separate note of appreciation. DS is a Primary School teacher and he would say the same thing

We did a card (made by child) and a Starbucks gift card last year (because there's a Starbucks opposite the school, plus they're in service stations, airports etc. so easily spendable and suit all dietary needs). This was packaged up in a little gift bag with a pair of bee socks (class was called bumble bees) and a roll of stickers (the kind they bribe 4/5 year olds with).

Did the same for teacher and TAs.

All usable and not a millionth best teacher mug. Every time im in school for a meeting (frequently!) I get served coffee in a best teacher mug!

Costa/Starbucks gift cards, and a lovely message are always appreciated. Even better if the message is copied to the Headteacher.

I love an M&S voucher, or one for a local cafe or farm shop, and a card with a kind message.

Usually get a big food hamper for them all to share amongst themselves and individual thank you cards.

Handmade card from the kid or could be a drawing or even a poem if they like to write, or something like this.
As for the gift, you can go with either gift cards or stationery, could also be something personalized like a desk calendar with photos or a notebook and pen gift set, etc.
Posh chocolates are nice as well and so are tea/coffee sets. I'd avoid mugs though 😂
