To the head teacher at going home time.

It said the bus have been booked for the trip...............

This was written by a teacher who is currently teaching nursery but due to a reorganisation will be teaching my ds in y3 next year.

Can I point out the spelling error in the title of your thread?

eenybeeny · 24/06/2008 16:36

LOL

This is why I am not a pedant.

You will always stumble on something.

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 24/06/2008 16:39

Lol, I spotted the spelling error in the title too!

We had sports day at dd's school today and one notice said;

'This way to the hocky race'

I was a bit at the teachers spelling!!

welshdeb · 24/06/2008 16:40

Tee Hee.

Back to the subject, it is a bit unnerving when these iare the people teaching our 'darling' children. However, that may be the only spelling mistake they will ever make (especially if you go up the school and make sure, lol!)

bergentulip · 24/06/2008 16:58

teacher's spelling

pointydog · 24/06/2008 17:06

'the bus have been booked' just sounds like someone in a rush, not a grammatical error. No I wouldn't blardy mention it

i like it when they mark his spellings and still tick when he has got one wrong.
i usually correct it in red pen and put an exclamation mark next to it.
no discussion...
but 'gramatical' did make me larf.

My DS is in Y7 and his form teacher is a young PE teacher who likes to take every opportunity to assure us all that PE is a proper respectable academic subject. We went to an open day at school recently and I had to smile at the sign directing us to "Accademic PE"
