Preston Davey- his murderer has been given a whole life order.
AIBU to hope he has no opportunity to kill himself?
I hope he suffers death by 1000 cuts.
Im pleased for once that a sentence is appropriate for the crime.

The irony of accusing me of poor comprehension while not understanding the meaning of your own words. Karma implies a connection between someone’s actions and the suffering that follows. That’s the whole point of the term.
So when you described this as “karma”, you were explicitly linking what happened to that child with something his mother did years earlier. If that’s not what you meant, then perhaps “karma” wasn’t the word you were looking for.

Im sure that wasnt the intention but

1. Preston was an actually baby boy who was horribly killed, it’s insulting to be so flippant
2. His mother doesn’t deserve ‘karma’ in the form of her baby son being raped until he asphyxiated because she committed a murder as a teenager. This kind of sentiment comes across like cheering Preston’s death because it hurts the mother and gets one up on her. That’s not ok imo

Yep, someone will get to him at some point. I hope it takes years though, a quick end to this monster is too easy. I’d like him to suffer years of fear and threats. It’s the very least he deserves.
