Member off staff has had a long illness this year, came back to work briefly but appeared to be unwell still and was told to see specialist involved in their care. Member off staff has consequently been given a fit note and has emailed myself and HR to inform us. HR responded swiftly as it was emailed jointly so I did not respond as felt no need to say anything given HR responded to them. I have been spoken to over the above. I really don’t think IABU as I’ve already sent well wishes at the start of the illness.
