I have a stalker. She tried to blackmail me and I’ve been to the police and she will be arrested sometime , but it’s a very slow process. It is the darkest experience of my life. This person worked for me and was my confidante and she is now contacting everyone I have ever worked with to bad mouth me. I’ve no actual idea what she’s saying to all these business associates. In her emails to me sometimes she tells me she loves me, sometimes she hates me, sometimes she apologises, and sometimes she gives long detailed analysis of everything that’s wrong with me. My main business rival has just contacted me saying that she has had a series of strange emails from my stalker and would I like to know anymore. I would love to know more. But I fear it will humiliate me even more. Aibu to ask for more information? Or should I just reply with a formal “ thank you for letting me know, she appears to be unraveling”? i don’t want to feel even worse than i do now.
