What could cause this mark on my daughter’s wrist?

My daughter came home from nursery with this mark on Tuesday. She always takes her hair bobble out and puts it on her wrist and I usually take it off and it’s fine.

I noticed that after nursery she had this mark on her hand and I thought perhaps at nursery she had put a hair bobble on her wrist again and the mark should fade.

It’s now Friday and it’s still visible. I did contact nursery and the manager spoke to the room leader who said she saw it already on her on Tuesday morning but I cannot recall seeing a mark on her wrist Tuesday morning as j would’ve informed nursery if it had happened at home. I have a photo of her wrist from Monday evening (just a video that I sent to my family and there’s no mark on Tuesday evening).

What could be the cause? The only thing I can think of is a hair bobble mark whereby the hair bobble has moved and gone a bit diagonal.

I took her to the pharmacy yesterday and was told it’s nothing to worry about as both hands are warm and to keep an eye on it if it doesn’t fade in a few days to go to the GP.

it’s just a bit weird that it’s not really faded since Tuesday? She also tried to put one on her leg this morning which I took off as soon as I saw it and that marks already faded.

I’ve just given up trying to tie her hair now 🙈

It looks like a very minor burn mark to be honest. I've accidentally brushed against the edge of a hot kettle or cake pan and it doesn't blister but the skin turns dark and takes a while to fade.

The first photo looks a lot like a hair bobble mark because it appears slightly indented, but that could just be the lighting. The second picture looks much more like a friction or heat burn.

Really hard to say, but I think it could have been made by her having a bobble on her wrist and then falling/scraping the wrist, so a slight friction burn made by the bobble?

My daughters used to get marks like this from having bobbles on their wrists. One time my eldest went to sleep with one on her ankle which was obviously far too tight and that properly bruised and took several days to disappear. My youngest also slept with one on her wrist which took a while to disappear too.

were they playing outside for any time at nursery? could be a burn mark from the elastic in the hair bobble if it was warm and sunny, I had this happen to me as a child at school.

Yes, it sounds feasible that the bobble tie may have got caught on something and caused friction, especially if got hot and sweaty too. If you have no other concerns I wouldnt be too worried about it, but you're right to think about how it was caused.
