To have said no?

I am contracted 39 hours. I work across multiple sites. This week I was assigned to site 1.
The manager of site 2 went on holiday this week and the person holding site 2 had just come back, but came back to minimal staffing and had not been told. Additionally they were holding the site by themselves without adequate cover.
They reached out to me to see if had been assigned to them. I hadn't but, along with the manager of site 1, we rearranged rotas and called in staff to cover 1 and I travelled down to site 2.
I then went to 2 again today, moving my day off to tomorrow instead. Again tomorrow the site does not have adequate cover so I agreed to work a partial day to help out. However I then got a text asking me to do a full day.
I had already reached out to other site managers to try and cover the site on my day off, but none were available, hence me working on my day off. I don't mind doing a partial day to be honest but given I have now worked 50 hours I escalated the problem to the area manager who was actually brilliant and has arranged cover for the site 2 holder. I am still working a partial day.

This is my aibu.. was I u to say no to the full day given I am already so far over my hours? And have rearranged both this week and next week to cover the site? Both personal plans and rotas. It means that site 1 is already impacted and now site 3, who originally reached out to and had said no, has had to rearrange as well given the area manager has got involved. My people pleasing would formerly have just agreed but after burnout I felt I had to put a boundary in place. So I feel terrible for saying no.

No you are nbu...you are overthinking this...enjoy your time off.

No. it sounds like the area manager needs to be more involved at sorting their sites out though.

Of course you’re not BA. You’ve gone over and above to help out yourself, and reached out to get additional help. 50hrs is a lot, and you need a break too. Don’t feel bad, you seriously have no reason to.

It's not your responsibility so no.

They’re lucky you’ve been so accommodating.

Yanbu but you also in my opinion should have escalated to the area manager earlier. They get paid more than you to sort these kinds of problems out.
