A dear relative passed away not very long ago and was a massive ELO fan.
Obviously some of you will be too young to remember them but in the 70’s and 80’s they had many hits including Mr Blue Sky, All over the world, Evil woman etc.
There is a one off performance of ELO’s music by the Halle orchestra at Bridgewater Hall this Saturday(23rd May) and I would love to go but no one in the family is available due to prior commitments or mobility issues and I don’t want to go by myself.
My question is, how can I find out if anyone has a ticket spare due to someone being unable to attend and would be willing to have my company for the event.
I would pay the full cost of the ticket and any additional costs incurred! Unfortunately neither Bridgewater Hall nor FB can help.

Just another reassurance, I quite often go to things on my own by choice, mainly musicals or ballets that are not my husband's bag. It can actually be really rewarding to focus on a performance without having to make small talk, social arrangements, or make allowances for someone else. Especially as it will have such personal meaning for you, you will be free to feel what you like without having to explain or justify it to anyone. I hope the logistics go smoothly and you enjoy every moment, what a lovely way to pay tribute to a lost loved one!
