AIBU to hesitate over weight loss jabs during menopause?

I'm sitting on the fence about weight loss jabs , first I was a strong no but I'm menopausal with 3 stone to lose (already lost 3 stone and plateaued for 2 years)
I work in a place where lots (probably 15 - 20 colleagues) have been using them and now stopped, all bar one are creeping back up in weight (not being judgey here, we have been talking openly at work about it with the people involved)
If you've used them and come off, has your weight crept up again?
I really can't decide whether to try or not. I have HRT ready to start but doc says that WLI and HRT not a good mix necessarily so I'm torn. Any advice or experience gratefully received

Personally, I’d use the HRT to boost mood, increase energy and improve sleep. Then try to shift towards long term healthier habits. Thats cheaper and more sustainable, and the WLI will still be there if needed.

GLP 1 agonists interfere with the absorption of Progesterone and so if you use them it’s advised to have a Mirena coil for the Progesterone element of your HRT. That’s the only issue I’m aware of. I’m on HRT and use Mounjaro.

I came off HRT as it contributed significantly to weight gain.

I have lost five and a half stone on WLI and take a maintenance dose so as not to gain.

There was something in The Times recently about how weight loss injections reduce bone mass and density as part of how they work so I'd be very careful if I were you because that definitely doesn't sound good.

After a quick Google I found this:

I'm on HRT (with Mirena coil) and using Mounjaro with no issues. I'm postmenopausal now, and have lost nearly four stone over the last year. I feel better than I've felt in years.

Hmm it's a bit of a balancing act . More thought needed I guess. Thanks for all the responses so far, I do appreciate it

I’m as lap on Mounjaro and hrt/ oral progesterone.

my gp doubled the progesterone element in line with guidance and I have had no issues - now reached goal weight and maintaining on Mounjaro for nearly 3 months.

i will try to titrate dose down in the future but am letting my body get used to its new normal for a few months first as recommended by my prescriber.

Im also considering the same thing. Since starting HRT last June I've gained about 5kg and nothing I can do is even shifting a inch. I walk 10,000 steps a day, circuit type strength class 3 x a week and the odd yoga/pilates class. I track 1500 calories a day and try to eat high protein 100g+ per day and nothing works. I just have constant bulge around my middle and am totally depressed.
