I have been reading the other thread on here about yesterdays rally and am quite frankly peed off by all the stereotyping and misinformation. I did attend yesterday, i am not a racist or a thug despite what Keir Stammer says. I attended to support the Together for The Children campaign which raises awareness and support victims of grooming gangs as well as other things. I met some lovely people from all backgrounds yesterday and didn't witness any violence. I was pleasantly surprised how diverse the crowd was and how many women attended. unfortunately i have had to change my name on here as the counter protesters can be very hateful and will try to expose anyone who does not agree with them, we have even had our home addresses shared online! Surely there are other mumsnet like me who are scared for our childrens/grandchildrens future?
