Posting here for traffic and would welcome any advice from dentists.

I am missing two upper front teeth where my Maryland bridge fell out 2 years ago. It was about 20 years old and could not be reglued successfully.
I started the implant journey last November by having a remaing tooth stump extracted and I had a bovine bone graft and implant inserted on the same day in February. I was trying to avoid destroying 2 healthy teeth with a fixed bridge.

Unfortunately, the implant has failed due to insufficent bone. My options are to try again with a bone graft from my lower jaw or have a fixed bridge. I really don't want to go through all the discomfort of an unpleasant procedure again and have another year with no teeth if this fails again. Should I take the risk or just accept a bridge? I am 63. I suppose I could have false teeth but the temporaries I'm wearing now spoil any enjoyment of eating.
Anyone else had a failed implant? I don't know if I can face another 5 injections into the palate as it was just so painful.

I have a dreadful implant at the front. If I had the funds I’d have it drilled out and redone in a heartbeat!
Maybe see another dentist and mention about the injections, they really shouldn’t have been so painful that you couldn’t go through it again. That’s said, if you found it that awful, and with no guarantee of a new graft taking, maybe a fixed bridge is a good compromise.
It’s miserable trying to eat with the temporary false teeth isn’t it? I can’t imagine resorting to them as a permanent solution.
