Reform voters are thick because they can't say what their policies are.

Green voters are thick because the Green Party is clearly insane.

Voters of moderate parties are thick because why would you want more of the same old bullshit?

Non voters are thick because you should take part in democracy you idiot!

Have I covered everyone?

The child is currently halfway through doing Citizenship GCSE - as a result he’ll understand more about how parliament works, the rule of law and media bias than a large percentage of the voting adults in the country. I’d think that’d give hope for the future if the teaching of it was more engaging. He has learnt a lot more from revising than he has in two years of classes. If we could just roll that syllabus out as compulsory for all the adults in the UK next…..🤔

Everyone wants democracy, so long as everyone agrees with their point view.

MN doesn't really seem to reflect the common thinking. But, all good fun. 👍

Seriously I actually wish we could all just stop insulting each other for having different opinions.

Agreed. I wrote something on one of the threads about been fed up of people calling others stupid.

Boomer55 · 09/05/2026 16:36

Well, if anyone has to resort to calling others stupid, it’s the last resort of those that can’t construct a reasonable debate.

Best ignored. 🙄

Brainstorm23 · 09/05/2026 16:53

Think how stupid the "average" person is and then remind yourself that half the population are less intelligent than that 😂

Tableforjoan · 09/05/2026 11:33

Obviously.

If you all don’t vote for the right party you are too stupid and shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

The right party being…

The Thicky McThickety Thick Party, for certified thickos only 😂

You must be at least two planks thick to enter.

Showing any respect for other people's opinions at all will get you the boot, though, so you better not be thick enough to try that

That’s far too hard for the Labour voters

kinkytoes · 09/05/2026 18:44

@Sartre

"I don’t think people are thick necessarily, just misinformed and it isn’t always their fault."

I disagree. Even the best informed people will vote one way or another. It still doesn't make them wrong!

I think this take is quite patronising actually and I see it a lot on here.

Mental isn’t it. Someone should start a poll “Are you thick?”. It should have a resounding 100% yes vote according to MN.

Or perhaps the poll should be “Is everybody else thick?” Again 100% yes I presume

*could add “as mince” for extra sass.

I'm very much enjoying everyone's input today, thanks all!

And yy to these polls! Someone do it 😂
