PIP Tribunal for EUPD - any tips?

My mates got awarded PIP pretty easily for AuDHD without having to go to a tribunal. I first applied 18 months ago, so this feels like a big moment with quite a lot at stake and frankly I could really use the relief as I'm in the middle of a sexual harassment dispute with my employer which will likely lead to yet another tribunal :/ . I am only hoping for the lower rate at this point.

Any tips?

Impossible to advise on this without knowing which descriptors you meet.

I would recommend getting in touch with

They are brilliant at helping people with claims.

How well do you align to the criteria? What tasks in the list do you need help with? EUPD is different to AuDHD so you can’t really compare.

You answer the questions honestly. It's not really about what illnesses you have, more how limited you are in being able to do things. But you do need evidence of the medical issues you say you've got.

So it asks if you can bathe, feed yourself, go outside unaided, communicate with others, walk a certain number of metres, manage finances etc.
You're then awarded points for each category.

Then the two sections, daily living and mobility are awarded or not. Either higher or lower rate.

Obviously if you disagree with the decision you can appeal.

Best of luck x

its all about bringing evidence to counter the reasons they have refused to give you points really. So if they say they think you can do X because you can do Y you need to bring concrete proof that you cannot do X whilst also explaining why it differs from doing Y

It's not about diagnosis but how it affects your day to day living
