AIBU to think this is too early for perimenopause?

I'm 38, lifelong hormonal issues, proud mum of one (we'd have loved another but had a myriad of fertility issues), I've recently got some hair growth on my chest and also my neck, and bad back acne. Is this too early to be perimenopausal?? It's very annoying and knocking my confidence. But also, does this mean that a second child is well and truly out of the realms of possibility now?

Do your life long hormonal issues include pcos?

I've had a prolactinoma, I have all the symptoms of pcos but many many hormonal tests show normal androgen profile despite an irregular cycle. So on paper I don't have it, but my lifelong acne and weight around my middle section tell a different story!

It would be on the early side, but it's not impossible. If your high prolactin levels are suppressing your cycle and shortening your luteal phase though that does make like very difficult trying to conceive, so I can see why you're very fed up!

Ah well my cycle is fairly stable now but on the longer side....my DH's swimmers are the bigger problem 🙈At least it makes me cherish my one and only very much!
I could just do without there annoying hair and skin problems really....
