To feel annoyed. Hospital still haven’t rectified notes about birth?

Baby is 9 months now. I had a c section with a pph, blood loss over 2L. I had a blood transfusion and a balloon put in. Discharge notes state normal blood loss of 500ml, no complications, nothing about haemorrhage or blood transfusion. Since I had the 8 week check I’ve been trying to get the midwives to correct this. I’ve been told multiple times “Leave it with me and we’ll get it corrected”. The last time I called, the midwife went through all my notes and said she didn’t understand why it was incorrectly noted but she’d get it rectified. Still nothing. It’s not that big of a deal I guess except I’ve had 2 gps telling me I most definitely did not haemorrhage or have a blood transfusion because the notes state I didn’t. This isn’t the first time I’ve had inaccuracies with the hospital. I had something wrote down on my labour notes wrong from the pregnancy before and the consultant was telling me it didn’t happen because the notes said different, this is what bothers me.

Interestingly - I also lost near 2l of blood during my emergency c-section. Didn’t have a blood transfusion as they chose to wait and I started to recover quite quickly (though looked like a corpse for a few days). The consultant and the midwife were arguing in theatre about the amount of blood loss and it was recorded as only 1l on my notes even though the midwife disagreed. I never understood why.

I’m very concerned that the decision was made to induce you if baby was already compromised. Obviously I don’t have all the details but if I were you, I’d be asking a lot of questions about that decision making process.

Her heart rate was good it was just she wasn’t meeting on the criteria of moving/ acceleration of heart rate. They wanted to see accelerations in her heart rate but it was just a steady straight line. I’d be given cup after cup of cold water and shaking my hips whilst on the ctg and still after an hour there was no change. As well as the 2 ctg appointments a week, I was also taking myself into triage because the gap between her moving was increasing. I remember one occasion at 34 weeks I’d felt her move around 5am and then lunch time came and she still hadn’t moved. The induction was just brought forward a week. My scans at 28 weeks (which was done at 27 weeks brought forward by recommendation of a consultant in triage) and 32 weeks were normal. I’d also had a scan in triage sometime between too and they were all fine. I was already admitted onto labour ward on the day of the 36 week scan so didn’t have it.
