The 'from' ticket price is more expensive than general admission for their quiet time sessions which would benefit people with sensory issues. Why should people who have different needs pay more?

They probably let less people in so need to make up the difference of the ticket sales?

WhatAMarvelousTune · 09/04/2026 13:55

Is it because the cheaper standard tickets are weekday. And the quiet time tickets are the same price as standard tickets on a non-quiet Sunday.

BillieWiper · 09/04/2026 13:58

Yeah if it's 'quiet' presumably means they don't allow as many in. Unless by quiet they mean people are barred from speaking? So it makes sense it would cost more.

TheDenimPoet · 09/04/2026 14:02

If they're letting fewer people in, they should balance that across the whole week, not just make those people pay extra. It's like being punished for having a condition that requires a quiet session.

Goodadvice1980 · 09/04/2026 14:15

A great idea but the website blurb is badly worded.

Maddy70 · 09/04/2026 14:17

Basic economics. Fewer people , same overheads

Sirzy · 09/04/2026 14:21

And also the nature of the people needing that session means most will have at least one free carer.

it being a bit more also means others won’t book it when they can get cheaper.

personally with ds I would rather pay £1 or £2 more to know it would be a smaller quieter session he could cope with.

Firesidechatter · 09/04/2026 14:23

If it was the same price everyone would try to book it.

DalmationalAnthem · 09/04/2026 14:29

Am I missing something?

18.50 with 10% off brings it to around the same price that the standard ticket starts from: £16.50?

Tryagain26 · 09/04/2026 15:01

When you go on to book the adult price is showing as £16.50 the same as a standard adult ticket on a Sunday
