Her characters views allows the writers to introduce unconventional storylines and various odd stories, including:

However, Phoebe seems to be the least connected to the main core characters and the relationships that drive the show’s main stories .

She is good and funny but her character is the more an addation rather than essential character to the show / stories in the show ?

The context is actually that you read the title of an article that is being circulated widely today but you couldn't be bothered to read what Lisa Kudrow herself has to say. (She's perfectly happy with way things have turned out btw.)

I thought phoebe was mean to her friends too. Lisa kudrow was excellent though. No-one could have played that character.

Phoebe, For me, IS Friends and my favourite character! She has an edge to her that the others don't have. Probably because she was on the streets at 14, after her mother killed herself, and was living in a gremlin with a man called Cindy who talked to his hand! 😂

But she'd had a really hard life. The last few series they made her character really bitchy though. The episode where Ross bought her the child's bike because she's never had one was great.

I always felt when watching that Phoebe was more of a heavily used extra than a main friend. I didn't like the character at all, she was just far too out there.
