My mum is 70 and very very naive. She met a guy a year and a half ago she never really talks about him a lot just little things. Lots of stories never added up but whenever I questioned anything she would go funny with me. She was the same with her ex partner too so I have recently just backed off as I don’t always want to seem like I’m the one to dig her out. She mentioned to me recently that he rings her up everyday asking if she’s cooking and a lot of the time she doesn’t want to cook. she also mentioned that he eats a lot and she’s resorted to hiding her snacks. I last spoke to her on Thursday and the phone call was very short. I asked if she was ok and she said umm yeah but it was really dull. The conversation didn’t last long as I assumed he was there as she was just being weird. Ive been trying to call her for the past two hours no calls are going through and WhatsApp is only one tick. She’s an hour away so I don’t know whether to go and check on her or give it more time?
