Hi guys , question . we went to the dentist today with my 61/2 yr old boy , his big teeth are coming through but the dentist wants to put two fillings in his back baby teeth which will be out in the foreseeable , wants to charge me £320.00 ?? does this sound right ? big teeth yes but baby teeth that arn't staying ?? TIA

The baby molars don't fall out until 9 to 12 years, according to Google. I think you are probably being unreasonable as current and further decay will likely cause issues and pain. Your dentist is the expert. Perhaps seek a second opinion?

I don’t think they typically lose their back teeth until older do they? I think they’re the last to go. So he probably won’t lose them yet, if that’s what you’re thinking?

Well what do you expect him to chew his food with if these are allowed to continue to decay and become infected and painful? It'll be years before he loses these.

This will prevent the need for root canal or painful abscess if they get further infected.

Pay up and don’t leave your kids with rotten molars for up to 5/6 years…..
